This caviar is produced from the crossbreeding of two sturgeon species, Acipenser schrenckii and Huso dauricus, which inhabit the Amur River, the border between China and Russia. This crossbreeding combines the positive characteristics of both species. Today, it is farmed in the crystal-clear waters of the Huangshan Mountains in China.
