Not far from the fashion hub of Milan lies Tavazzano. Our sturgeon farm is harmoniously integrated into the natural surroundings and is situated on the banks of the Adda River in the Lombardy region.
These natural ponds are fed exclusively with fresh river water, allowing the sturgeon to grow up in pristine nature. As in all open systems, growth to sexual maturity takes longer here, because raising sturgeon requires not only excellent water quality but also ample space for each individual fish, as well as plenty of patience and time, which we are able to give our fish here.
Thanks to its salt preparation, the Italian Oscietra Caviar is our most robust, yet not saltiest, variety. It is perfect for complementing dishes or ideal for those who prefer a richer caviar. This makes this caviar particularly rare and therefore also very precious!
