France is renowned for its cuisine, considered among the best in the world. French specialties include baguettes, croissants, crêpes, quiche, coq au vin, ratatouille, and, of course, caviar.
The French lifestyle, "savoir-vivre," embodies enjoyment, style, and serenity, which can be perfectly complemented by a white Bordeaux or a glass of Champagne with our Baerii caviar.
Our open aquaculture facility is located in the small town of Nitting, situated between Saarbrücken and Strasbourg. The Sarre Rouge, the "Red Saar," flows past here, originating not far from Nitting and later merging with the Sarre Blanche, the "White Saar," at Hermelin to form the Sarre River. We draw water from the river, use it to feed our ponds and lakes, and then return it to the Sarre.
Our sturgeon thus grow up in fresh river water that flows continuously through our facility.
